Microsoft 365 & Cloud Security

Your email, files and Teams or Drive data live in the cloud — and so do the attackers looking for them. Microsoft and Google keep their platforms running, but protecting your accounts and your data is your responsibility. We watch your cloud apps for account takeovers and risky activity, and keep an independent backup so you can recover what's lost.

Detect the takeover. Restore anything that’s lost.

What you get

Detection and recovery for the apps you use every day.

Cloud detection & response

Continuous monitoring of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and other business apps for impossible-travel logins, logins from unexpected countries, malicious inbox rules and suspicious admin changes.

Automatic response

When an account looks compromised, it can be locked and its sessions revoked automatically, stopping an attacker quickly — even outside office hours.

Independent SaaS backup

Automatic backups of email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Google Drive data, stored separately from Microsoft and Google, several times a day.

Point-in-time restores

Recover a deleted mailbox, a folder overwritten by ransomware or a departing employee’s files exactly as they were on any backed-up date.

How it works

Set up without disrupting your team.

01

Connect

We securely connect monitoring and backup to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant — no software on staff devices.

02

Baseline

We review existing alerts, risky sharing and inbox rules, and clean up anything that shouldn’t be there.

03

Protect

Detection rules and automatic responses go live, and the first full backup runs.

04

Watch & restore

Our team reviews alerts, acts on threats and handles restores whenever you need them.

The shared responsibility gap

Microsoft keeps 365 running. Protecting your data is on you.

Cloud providers guarantee their service stays up — not that your data is safe from deletion, ransomware synced from a laptop, or a malicious insider. Recycle bins and retention settings have limits, and they don’t replace a real backup.

An independent backup means you can restore exactly what you need, whenever you need it.

Account takeover

Most email fraud starts with one compromised login.

Attackers who get into a mailbox often add hidden forwarding rules, watch for invoices and send payment changes from the real account. It can go unnoticed for weeks.

Cloud detection spots those changes as they happen. Pair it with MFA and email defence to stop most takeovers before they start.

Questions

Frequently asked

Isn’t my data already backed up by Microsoft?

Microsoft protects against its own outages, not against you or an attacker deleting or encrypting your data. Deleted items are only kept for a limited time, and restoring a specific point in time is difficult. An independent backup closes that gap.

Do you support Google Workspace as well as Microsoft 365?

Yes. Both cloud detection and SaaS backup support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

What happens when an account is compromised?

Depending on your settings, the account can be locked and its sessions ended automatically. We then investigate what the attacker accessed, remove malicious rules and help the user regain access safely.

Can you restore a departed employee’s mailbox?

Yes. As long as the account was backed up, we can restore mail, files and folders from any backed-up date, even after the licence has been removed.
